Eisco 2005 - european information society conference

One of the aims of the EISCO 2005 conference is to present within the parallel sessions the best practices from all over the Europe. The idea is to present those best practices that have a real chance to be replicated in the CEE countries. The best practices should always tackle one of the following digital areas:

  • eGovernment
  • ICT for Business
  • eTransport
  • eHealth
  • eEducation (Schools and Universities)
  • Open source applications for eGoverment
  • Open Source applications for local development
  • Open Source applications for eLearning (non-traditional learners)
  • User authentication and security systems
  • Office automation
  • Telework systems
  • Knowledge management systems 

The best study cases will be selected by the Committee of Experts, mostly from the new Member States, especially those who have been engaged directly in the organization of the conference because placed near Cracow (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary). The results of the selection will be known by end of March. Then the relevant persons will be contacted to give additional information.

If you want to present a study case, please fill in the best practice form. The deadline for the submission of applications is 12th of March.
